Recruitement of flight volunteers
If you are preparing to travel abroad, immigrate, or study abroad, please leave with our dogs at the shelter waiting for family.
It's a great hope for dogs waiting for overseas adoption.
Anyone who goes to US or Canada! Please give them only 30 minutes before your leaving.
Please take them to the house where their families are eagerly waiting!
* We always recruit flight volunteers.
✔ Anyone can do regardless of nationality, status, or occupation.
✔ However, only direct flights from Korean Air and Asiana Airlines are available.
✔ All the documents needed will be prepared by ADOGS volunteers! You ony have to come to the airport 30 minutes to 1 hour early.
✔ There's no additional charge for you.
✔ You leave after getting a permit. So you don't have to say my dog.
(Since you've already done customs declaration beforehand in advance, you can say “I'm a flight volunteer, not my dog” when you enter the country.)
✔ADOGS will pay for all expenses necessary for dog movement, including quarantine and baggage charges!
✔On the day of departure, the ADOGS volunteer will accompany you at the aiport and help you with all the procedures!
1. Before meeting the fight volunteer, the ADOGS volunteer will take the dog to quarantine at the animal and plant quarantine station and then receive the quarantine certificate.
(It is necessary to provide information in advance for us to issue the quarantine certificate without accompanying the flight volunteer to the station)
2. When the flight volunteer check in his/her ticket, the dog will be weighed and checked in too.
* The self check-in service is not possible when accompanied by a pet.
* The number of flight volunteer's baggage and dog kennel are separate.
3. The flight volunteer first enter the gate and the ADOGS volunteer hand over the dog to the baggage delivery site.
1. When you fill out the immigration form to enter US, check YES to the question that I'm bringing 'live animal' or plants.
2. After the immigration, next to the belt where the luggages come out, the dog kennels are usually already shown.
(If you have a lot of luggage, you can ask the airline staff for help or use the porter service. The cost for porter service will be paid by adoptees/adoption organization at the airport.)
3. Information and documents necessary for entry are attached to the kennel or provided to the flight volunteer at Korean airport in advance.
Even if the examiner doesn't ask you first, please tell that you're the flight volunteer first and show them all the documents we gave.
4. Finally, the dog is handed over to the adoptees/adoption organization. They will be waiting for you at the airport.
